Q.  What's the format of files in /etc/cron.d ?

A.  Lines that begin with "#" are comments.

Each non-comment lines has the time, userid, command.

# minute hour mday month wday userid command # 0-59 0-23 0-31 0-12 0-7=Sun <userid> <cmd>
# For example...
10 4 * * * root /usr/share/spamassassin/sa-update.cron 2>&1 | tee -a /var/log/sa-update.log
