Q. How do I hide the SquirrelMail version?

A. On a RedHat/Fedora/CentOS box change to this directory:

cd /usr/share/squirrelmail/config
Edit config.php to set hide_sm_attributions to true:
$hide_sm_attributions = true;
Or you can use the interactive program:
Now you can use the interactive ./conf.pl General Options > Hide SM attributions Set to true Return to main menu Save Quit
