Q.  How can I resize an LVM volume/disk?

A.  The beauty of LVM is that this is very easy!
In Fedora there is a graphical utility fro this.  Do:

system-config-lvm
From a GNOME/KDE terminal window or launch from the GUI. In the app click on the logical volume to select it then click on "Edit Properties". Drag the slider to make the volume bigger or small. Click on "OK. Exit the app the usual way. Do NOT use gparted.
