A.  Change the config file then run a clean up command

RedHat/CentOS: File /etc/yum.conf
[main] ... installonly_limit=3
The default is 5 Fedora: File /etc/dnf/dnf.conf
[main] ... installonly_limit=3
The default is 3 Then run:
package-cleanup --oldkernels
