Q.  How can I search for something I searched for a while ago in vim?

A.  To search for the string you just searched for press "n" for next
or "/" and <enter>
You can also access your search history! Press "/" then <up-arrow> and <down-arrow> to browse through (like on the command line) Once you see they old thing you want to search for press <enter>
