Q.  A virus changed the user UserInit registry key for WinLogon.
What's the normal setting?

A.  On Windows XP, the normal setting for UserInit is:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon UserInit = c:\Windows\system32\userinit.exe
Change it (carefully) with RegEdit.
