Date: 2012mar3 OS: Windows Q. How can I make a movie of a Windows program in action? A. There are a number of choices: - BSR Screen Recorder I use this program but I'm not sure its the best -- but it gets the job done. It has an option to only record a portion of the screen which is essential for me. It has a trial version (with a watermark) that you can try before paying. It has an option to boost the audio level which is needed for some reason. When your video is done it can convert it into small WMV format. http://www.bsrsoft.com - Camtasia http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.html Has a cool zoom function. Paid software. Trial version available. - CamStudio Open source, no cost. http://camstudio.org - Adobe Captivate Paid software. Trial version available. http://www.adobe.com/Captivate
