Q. When opening a project, Eclipse says my .project file is missing but its not. How can I fix this?

The full text:
The project description file (.project) for '<Project>' is missing. This
file contains important information about the project. The project will
not function properly until this file is restored.

A. This happened to me when I moved a project to another computer.
The solution was to delete (or rename) this file:

<WorkSpace>\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.resources\.projects\<Project>
After you open the project, Eclipse will recreate it.
