Date: 2011mar21 Q. When I import movies (.MPG files) from my Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P200 Adobe Premiere they stutter. How can I fix this? A. Movies from this camera are 25 frames per second. Setting the project to this rate improves things some but not entirely. I convert movies to 30 frames per second Quicktimes using ffmpeg like this:

ffmpeg -i MOV04824.MPG -sameq -r 30 mov04824_30.mov

and they are much smoother when imported into Premiere.
