So I looked at the installed updates (Control Panel > Programs and Features > View Installed Updates) and removed the recently installed updates. They are shown as installed but they are only half installed as they need to do some more when restarting. Sadly, that didn't work for me - I had to reinstall my OS. Control-I > Change PC Settings (Bottom-right corner) > Update and recovery > Recovery Other suggestions I tried... Uninstall antivirus. Look in event viewer and find the error code - eg 0x800F0922 And the update ie - KB2919355. Then Google for those together. Another suggestion is running:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

These didn't fix anything for me.
