Computer Tips - What do you recommend for free software that does virtualization on Windows?

Date: 2014may22 OS: Windows Keywords: Virtual machine Q. What do you recommend for free software that does virtualization on Windows? A. I tried Virtual Box and VMware Player. It selected VMware because it worked with more OSes. In Virtual Box both Ubuntu and Fedora appeared to install but when I entered the user's password they just hung. Maybe there is a solution for this somewhere out there. I was able to install both on VMware. VMware as a feature that seems to automatically install the guest for you. It answers the questions. But that didn't work for me. And I prefer picking the options myself. So I picked the option to create a blank OS and later specified the .iso image as the CD-ROM drive. Virtual Box lets you run multiple virtual machines simultaneously which is cool. If VMware player does this, I couldn't find it.
