Q. Mexico: Sayulita to Puerto Vallarta
A. There is a bus station on Ave Revolucion, Sayulita near the entrance
to the town. Its past the health station on your right as you
are walking out of town. Just after the Vallarta Plus office
(which is on the left). The bus company is Compostela and the buses
are green.
Its a local (non-luxury or non-tourist) bus.
Buy a ticket from the counter for M$46.
Take the bus to the terminus - over an hour.
This is on edge of Puerto Vallarta. To get into downtown,
you need to take a different bus, it is blue with "Centro" on the front.
Another fare of M$10 is required (best to have change ready).
I had to walk a small distance forward to the bus stop -
there is square sign with a blue bus icon.

For comparison...
I launched Uber. It says M$565 from Centro to Centro.
But no UberX cars were available when I checked.
Most likely a taxi would take you. Negotiate the price before hand.
There are stores around town advertising other methods of transportation.
A company called Sayulita Luxury Transport will drive you to
Puerto Vallarta Centro in a Chevy Suburban SUV for US$90
