Date: 2018aug23 OS: Android Q. Meaning of LED indicator on Samsung Galaxy S5 mini A. It doesn't work quite the same as I have read. This is what I have observed

Red: charging (any percentage complete) or fully charged, no messages Blinking Blue: SMS (text message) Green: charging, charging

- The indicator is only on when the phone's display is off. - I don't know when red vs green is displayed. - An Android notification (eg from Instagram) doesn't change the indicator. - Normally only and SMS will set the blue, but a regular notification from Lyft did - You can change how it behaves in Settings or with various apps. If you have some insight into this, please let me know.
